Privacy Policy
Last updated:
CORE is a video content studio based in London. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data responsibly. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have under UK data protection law.
Data controller: [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], [company number], [registered address]. Contact: studio@core.london
1. Information we collect
We may collect:
Contact details — name, business name, email address and phone number, provided voluntarily through our enquiry form or by contacting us directly.
Business information — details you share about your studio, gym or clinic and the content you need.
Usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited and time on site, collected automatically through cookies and analytics.
2. Photography and video
Our work involves filming and photographing inside client premises, which means we may capture images of staff and members. Where we do:
We ask the client to notify anyone present in advance of a shoot.
Anyone who does not wish to appear can ask not to be filmed, and we will accommodate that.
Footage and images are supplied to the client, who is responsible for how they are subsequently published.
If you appear in content we have produced and want it removed from our own portfolio or website, contact us at studio@core.london and we will remove it.
3. Why we process your data
We process personal data on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, producing and delivering content, and operating our business.
Contract — where we are delivering services you have engaged us for.
Consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records, for example for tax purposes.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell or trade personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example file hosting, email and analytics providers — and with authorities where we are legally required to do so.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years. Client records and project files are kept for the duration of the working relationship and for six years afterwards, in line with UK accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.
6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to operate correctly and to understand how the site is used. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, and you can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Footage and delivered files are shared through access-controlled folders.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Have inaccurate data corrected
Request erasure of your data
Restrict or object to processing
Request a portable copy of your data
Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these, email studio@core.london. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Third-party links
Our website may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their policies before sharing any information with them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised date.
